We've had a few good months since VF5 Revo's release where we've seen a number of updates, some big events with lots of hype, and we're just around the corner from some more excitement and invigoration for all! Unfortunately, the VF5 REVO Combos section has yet to benefit proper from all this new interest and momentum to the point where some characters still don't have any combos entered. Think you can help? Read on for details on what, where and how that help is needed.

Last Updated: April 17, 2025: Not only is VF5 REVO a main tournament for Combo Breaker 2025, it is also the first qualifier for the Virtua Fighter Open Championship. Just announced is the prize pool for top 8 at Combo Breaker. Winner of this event qualifies for a chance to win $100,000 (Date for Grand Finale TBD).

VF Lives Tournament, a collaboration between Maximillian, SEGA, and TNS is the largest online event for Virtua Fighter with over 300 participants, over $4,000 dollars prize pool, and plenty of VF memorabilia given out to top 8.

RentalAnimator just posted the second of a series of planned videos to introduce VF game concept to beginners. In the Level 2 video, the topic is about attacks - strikes and throws.

On the heels of Patch 1.03 release, Aoki posts his second letter to the community. The most interesting part of the letter is "development team is currently working on various measures for the new surprise..."

Virtua Wars is a team battle event featuring a variety of veteran VFers, popular streamers, and professional players. This is a collaboration between SEGA and G-Star Gaming, a women eSports team. The two teams will be led by well-know VF veterans Ohsu Akira and Bunbunmaru.
